Half Day Class Details
The Half Day Program is a school program in general. Starting from the time students come to school in the morning until the learning program is completed.
Welcome
(Arrival)
In this short time, many children's skills are developed, for example:
learn to keep their personal belongings (bags, jackets, drinking bottles) in their own lockers
greeting friends for their social skills
observing changes in the classroom, which is always decorated according to the themes in the program
Circle Time
(Planning)
Circle time is the beginning of playing and learning activities. The children get together and plan what they want to do for the day's program. Children will also get to know the theme and purpose of the day. Activities during circle time include games, singing together, reading books, filling in helper charts (a tool for practicing planning daily activities in class).
Work Time
(Educator Initiated Program)
Children carry out the plans they have made and the process of planning the next activity continues during work time. The educator always accompanies the child to carry out all program plans according to the theme of the day. These programs include Dramatic Play, Story Telling, Art, Science, Gardening, and Cooking.
Snack Time
(Self help routine)
Children learn to socialize with other friends, develop independence and fine motor skills. So, during snack time, children do not just eat but learn to develop various skills.
Closing
Children are invited to review activities that have been carried out from morning to afternoon. At the time of closing, children were given the opportunity to express their understanding of today's theme.
Full Day Class Details
The Full Day Program includes Half Day activities and activities that follow.
Lunch
Children will get lunch according to the menu on the monthly menu list. At this time children are taught independence when eating and tidying up the equipment they wear.
Siesta
Children are invited to rest after cleaning and changing their clothes. Boys and girls will sleep in separate rooms.
Bath
Children are invited to clean their bodies (shower and brush their teeth) and change their clothes. Children are bathed in turns, while older children (TK Kecil and TK Besar) are trained to bathe and wear their own clothes under guidance and assistance.
Children Initiated Learning
Children get additional afternoon activities while waiting to be picked up by their parents / guardians. Children can give suggestions to educators about afternoon activities to be carried out such as games, stories, etc.
Return
The child is picked up by the parent / guardian. Parents are asked to ensure that all children's equipment is not left behind at school. If there is something you want to ask the child, you can ask it as well as pick-up.
