Young children who go to Pelangi Indonesia Inclusive School get the tools and support they need for their healthy development. All activities are carefully designed to adequately nurture the emotional, intellectual and physical growth of our kids. Through stimulating situations and hands-on learning opportunities, children are free to develop into bright young minds.

Pelangi Indonesia school is present in a moment of Indonesia's multi-dimensional crisis. We are determined to be like the sun, which sheds light on the glorious potential of Indonesian children and takes part in transforming them into bright people.

We are committed to observe, find, and develop the Gardner's seven intelligences spectrum (linguistic, logical-mathematical, interpersonal, intrapersonal, musical, kinesthetic, and visual-spatial intelligence) as early as possible during childhood. Our team consists of psychologists, educational practitioners, artists, and other related professions, who work on all these aspects of intelligence to be implemented in our superior learning system.

Overview
Founded in 2004, Pelangi Indonesia School is a private school that implements the National Plus Curriculum and incorporates the Montessori method and cultural values ​​into all aspects of learning and school culture.

Pelangi Indonesia School offers Playgroup and Kindergarten classes in English. We apply a non-discrimination policy and accept students from various backgrounds, including children with special needs in a limited ratio. However, based on our comprehensive observation, we will separate classes for students who need "special attention".

Active, innovative and creative learning methods are applied in our programs. Hence, students are encouraged to explore during learning process, while teachers will act as the facilitator, educator, motivator and evaluator (Student Oriented Learning). Some of the learning models that are used in our school are inquiry-based learning, discovery learning, contextual learning, problem based learning and project based learning.
Each class has an ideal teacher to student ratio. We have 2 teachers in each class for a maximum of: 6 Baby Class students, 12 Playgroup students, and 20 Kindergarten students.

Since the last two years, Pelangi Indonesia school has also opened inclusive Homeschooling program, equivalent to elementary and middle school. This program fits for children with special interests (in music, sports, etc) or special needs. Currently we only offer classes in Bahasa Indonesia for our Homeschooling program.

Active Learning
Memfasilitasi anak-anak berkembang secara alami melalui permainan yang aktif dan terarah.
STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math).
Metode pembelajaran yang menggabungkan STEAM adalah satu kegiatan merupakan konsep belajar yang mementingkan kreativitas anak untuk memecahkan masalah yang berkaitan dengan hal-hal teknis atau sains. STEAM education diterapkan karena pendidikan pada abad ke-21 sudah memasuki era digital, sehingga harus terus berinovasi.
Project Based Learning (Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek)
Metode pembelajaran yang menggunakan masalah sebagai langkah awal dalam mengumpulkan dan mengintegrasikan pengetahuan baru berdasarkan pengalamannya dengan beraktivitas secara nyata dalam kehidupan.
Individual Approach
Pendekatan individual, cara dan kebutuhan belajar tiap anak berbeda. Pembelajaran di kelas diberikan dengan cara berdiferensiasi, anak bisa memilih kegiatan sesuai dengan minat dan keinginannya.
​Play Based Method, Loosepart Play
Bertujuan supaya anak-anak menjadi kreatif dengan adanya prinsip penggunaan bahan ajar looseparts, mereka bebas berkreasi membongkar pasang bahan ajar sesuai dengan imajinasi mereka.
​Billingual Class (hanya di Kelas Reguler)
Anak-anak dihadapkan pada bahasa Inggris sebagai instruksi sehari-hari dan percakapan sederhana. Mereka juga dikenalkan dengan kosakata dasar, lagu, dan pantun/syair dalam bahasa Inggris. Selain itu, kami mengajarkan anak untuk menguasai membaca dan menulis dalam bahasa Indonesia, mendengarkan, berbicara dan presentasi
